I missed yesterday’s Theme Thursday photo challenge so I am posting it here today. This week’s theme is Portraits: Close-ups. Since I am always posting pics of the boys (mostly my camera loving Matthew) I thought I’d ask Bella to let me take a photo. My sweet girl agreed.
I was gone all day and the sun was setting so I snapped a few quick photos in the backyard. I let Bella pick the one she liked best.
This was the winner.
Ā I used PicMonkey to also make a black and white version since I love the timeless look of B&W.
Lastly, a quick shot of my oldest holding hands with my youngest. The pilled sweater is bugging me but I am learning to let go of my idea of perfection and embrace the beauty despite the imperfections. š

Hi Micaela. How does it feel? Surreal!! It seems like an incredibly short time ago that she was toddling around the tree throwing bulbs to the floor. It is both scary and exciting to watch her bloom. š
