For those who don’t follow RoL on Facebook or Twitter, I wanted to let you know that Brian came home on Friday. Blessed be God! He still has some recuperating to do but we are just happy to have him home. Yesterday was a crazy day for me. I had to do my jobs, Brian’s jobs, take care of the kids and take care of Brian. It was a good test of my patience and self-sacrifice. So, how did I do? Let’s just say that if this was a real school I’d be sitting outside of the principle’s office. 😉

Today went a little better because in the afternoon my father-in-law took two of the kids to his house, Brian was resting and I sat down on the couch with the two little boys. As they drifted off for a nap I forgot about the laundry and the dishes and the bills and closed my eyes and dozed off too. It was just what I needed. Now I will leave shortly to pick up my mom from the airport. (Insert Happy Dance.)

Blogging will most likely be non-existent next week (unless I stay up late after everyone goes to bed) as I am woefully behind on my household chores. (Like realizing I forgot to deposit a bunch of checks after I paid bills!) But I do thank you for all your prayers and well wishes. They mean so, so much to Brian and myself. I’ll pop in when I can. And we’ll be one in spirit as we watch Downton tonight. 😉
